First match
Chris Dunabin writes: ‘We played the team then known as Whiteway Wanderers, at a pitch alongside the rugby club about half a mile from their present ground, on Sunday 13 September 1987, the last day of our one-and-only four-match mini-tour. (We won by 38 runs: Erratics 170 all out; Whiteway 132 all out.) Whiteway changed their name to Tar Barrow in 1988, when we played them at Rodmarton; we first played them at their present ground in 1989.’ James Rivington adds: ‘For a while, we played them twice a year, as they would visit us as part of a London tour. The last London game was in August 1993.’
