NARRATIVE
Skipper Richard Hellers bowling figures are a harsh reflection of his performance. The catch by A Poole off the bowling of Chris Dunabin earned an oscar nomination. Nasir Khawaja also earned an oscar nomination for outstanding wicketkeeping (saving byes, etc.). Brian Berrigan returned for a second spell that demolished the OT tail.
A decent start to the Erratics innings was undermined by the efforts of the lower order. Michael Evans was out third ball. For a while it looked as though James Rivington might hold up one end while Brian steered the side to victory. But in the penultimate over of the final twenty, James was out and Richard followed next ball. In a last minute switch in the batting order, Bill Bush was sent out instead of Patrick Cheney. With 8 runs needed off the last over, Brian managed just a single, and Bill succumbed looking for glory.
