Notes:
Sarwan Shah and Mitesh Dhanani, friends of Ketz Haria, made their debuts for the Erratics. Chris Lewis and Charlie Ralph were kindly loaned by the opposition.
Tarbarrow won the toss and elected to field.
It was agreed that batsmen should retire on reaching 25, with the possibility of returning if everyone else had had a bat. Jim Head retired with the score on 27; Sarwan’s punchy knock ended with the score on 73; and skipper Nasir Khwaja retired when the total was 115. When Mitesh was out, Jim went back out to add a couple more runs to his tally.
Good tea, as always.

Dhanani 0.3 0 3 0
Notes:
Sarwan bowled brisk left-arm stuff and was mightily unlucky, and David Brook bowled reliably in spite of a dodgy back.
Otherwise, it was only the requirement that they retire that interrupted the steady progress of the Tarbarrow batsmen. In reaching the target, they used 14 overs fewer than the Erratics had needed.
