London Erratics v Kilndown & Lamberhurst
at Kilndown

All results possible in thrilling draw

A familiar event to many Erratics, but a new addition to the formal fixture list as the Erratics took on the guise of the Lord Mayhew XI. Robert Waller had recruited a team (ten of whom showed up), but asked James Rivington to captain on the day. Kilndown won the toss and elected to bat.
After giving pacy Rawle Beckles and guileful Richard Langley a long spell, James turned to his quartet of spinners — and stuck with them even when the Kilndown batsmen knocked them about. They rewarded him by bowling out the home side, giving a competitive target to chase.
